Saturday night, the annual event "The Art of Skateboarding", was held at South Side on Lamar in downtown Dallas in The Janette Kennedy Gallery . The event benefits Scottish Rite Children's Hospital. Funds are raised from a live auction and several silent auctions throughout the night. There were about 200 Artists who created boards for the auctions. The board you see is the board I bid on and the one I GOT! The artists is Cody Phillips owner of MacIX out of Southlake, Texas. I had a blast and supported a great cause AND got an amazing piece of Artwork. I am already thinking about next years event....
